HD HYUNDAI ROBOTICS Wins Featured Finalist at IDEA Award 2023
HD HYUNDAI ROBOTICS announced that HYUNDAI D1 won the Featured Finalist at the 2023 IDEA Design Awards in the U.S.
The International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) is a design award co-hosted by the American Industrial Designers Association (IDSA) and the global economic magazine Business Week, and is considered one of the world's top three design awards along with Germany's iF Design Awards and Red Dot Design Awards.
HYUNDAI D1 was well-received for its high disinfection performance, installing UV-C LEDs on the floor, and applying a harmless plasma sterilization method to the human body to show a human-friendly design philosophy of "coexistence of humans and robots."
It was also recognized for increasing the convenience of use by installing displays and LED mood lamps on the top so that the current status of disinfection work and environmental information can be intuitively grasped and manipulated.
An official from HD HYUNDAI ROBOTICS said, "This award is the result of considering the differentiated design identity and competitiveness of HD HYUNDAI ROBOTICS from various angles," adding, "We plan to further increase the brand value with a competitive product that customers are satisfied with."
